DOUBLE ACT

“the laughs are wonderful, but it’s the moments of tenderness between them that remain with you”

★★★★ - The Reviews Hub

An all-singing, all-dancing (all-talking), two woman show from Honey & Lemon. Tracking the history of women in entertainment, DOUBLE ACT begs to question: how did we get here and where are we going? It’s hard to know where to start.

Two performers get together to unpack the last 100 years and set themselves up for the next. A lesson in resilience, friendship, and, above all, sticking together.

Audience praise for DOUBLE ACT:

“Sharp, funny, moving”

“Raucously fun, with love & tenderness snuck between laughs”

“Frolic, frivolity & friendship… will really stay with me”

Azalea & Rhododendron

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Azalea and Rhododendron. Two little ladies who burst onto the scene of eachothers lives, not knowing that from it they wouldn’t part. All types of weather, they stick together. Even in the rain or sun. Two different faces, but in tight places, they think and the act as one.
